The Inspector Packer position is responsible for inspecting and packing product from the Signature and Straightline Gluers. Specific job tasks include, but are not limited to: Inspect and pack finished good cartons into a corrugated box, visually inspect products for defects, communicate effectively with supervisors, lead persons and operators in matters such as but not limited to safety, quality, production, etc. Follow SQF and food safety regulations at all times, perform other tasks as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Prefer 1 year of manufacturing experience. Physically requirements: Physically capable of moderate to light physical effort equivalent to frequently lifting or moving light to average weight. Frequently lifting 35#'s, occasionally bending, stooping crouching and climbing, frequent neck and trunk extension as associated with reaching above shoulders and frequent handling of supplies and tools overhead. Constant standing and walking. Continuous mental and visual attention when performing work activities. Work shift work of 40 hours per week, with overtime possible
