Purpose of Job:

The IE will assist construction team with input on installation means and methods, product development of installation standards and practices, and interaction with field installation personnel to ensure successful work completion for installation booked orders. The IE will work closely with the Design Engineering (DE) department to coordinate installation drawings and details.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Standardize installation materials, tools and equipment for installation projects
• Develop standardized installation manual for all equipment to assist Moffitt Certified Installer (MCI) partners and customers with installation of Moffitt products
• Provide DE support for custom, site-specific installation details
• Provide MCI support, including pre- and post- job communications and training, as needed
• Problem solve installation issues, troubleshoot problems on jobsites
• Develop site specific safety plans to be reviewed by Construction Manager
• Organize and update documentation based on installation feedback gained from field communications
• Complete construction team development objectives as assigned by Construction Manager
• As part of the Construction Team, assist with field estimating, supervision, and technician work as needed.

Skill/Job Requirements:

• 1–2-year experience in similar field or 2–4-year degree recommended.
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specification requirements.
• Must be technically minded with eagerness to learn.
• Construction knowledge that can be applied to design and problem solving
• Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint, and Acrobat.
• Must be self-motivated, responsible and dependable with positive attitude to manage in group/team setting.
• Comfort working over large, exposed roof and wall openings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional presence on phone and in person.
• National travel up to 50% on job sites for installation support

Training:

Moffitt will provide training on all Moffitt products and successful installation techniques.

Previous experience/certifications with manlift/forklift/scissor lift a plus. Training if needed will be provided by Moffitt.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
