POSITION SUMMARY:

ACCEL Schools is hiring a Instructional Aide for Mount Auburn Preparatory Academy located in CINCINNATI, OHIO that will assist and support the teacher with daily classroom activities. Founded in 2014, ACCEL Schools is a K-12 public charter school management organization (CMO) across the United States. We manage a network of over 50 charter schools within Ohio and surrounding states.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports lessons taught by the teacher for individual students or groups of students
• Follows instructional plans as assigned by the teacher
• Helps plan classroom activities as directed by the teacher
• Contributes to a positive climate and culture by exhibiting high professional standards
• Assists the Teacher in the use of classroom technology
• Flexibility to assist with field trips, morning duty, dismissal duty, and lunch duty as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
• Current and active Instructional Aide licensure, or able to obtain license
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI check
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines
• Able to manage confidential information
• High quality written and verbal communication skills
• Previous work experience working with youth or in a school setting desired

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
