Function/Duties of Position:
The duties of this position include: The duties of this position are in support of the missions, goals and objectives of OHSU and the School of Medicine and include: drive and participate in the research mission of the university, as applied to patients with bleeding & clotting disorders, participate in the education of medical students and house staff in accordance with assignments to the department by the Curriculum Committee and Chair; The duties of this position support the mission, goals and objectives of OHSU and the University Hospitals and Clinics.

This program will consist of approximately 50% clinical/outreach activities and 50% research activities

It is anticipated your job will be made up of the following components: Research, Clinical, Teaching, and Service.
Required Qualifications:
Required: MD or MD/PhD
  • Applicants must have at least completed, or be on track to complete, a U.S. ACGME-accredited internal medicine or family medicine residency by the time of matriculation into this program; international medical graduate applicants must have completed an equivalent training program in adult internal medicine/primary care by the time of matriculation.
  • Applicants must obtain a limited/full medical license through the Oregon Medical Board, with an active period encompassing the duration of training in this program.
  • Passing grades for USMLE step 1 and 2 board exams, or equivalent exams for international medical graduates. While USMLE step 3 scores may be considered for prospective applicants, completion of step 3 is not strictly required.
