General Summary
This position will be required to teach the courses in the Entrepreneurship Program, advise students in the Entrepreneurship Program, teach the capstone strategy course, conduct the TechNext Student Experience trips, and to provide service to the department, college, and University as needed.
Major Duties
- Teach up to 4 courses per term in the Management Department including courses in entrepreneurship and strategy.
- Advise students in the Entrepreneurship Program including the phasing out of the Entrepreneurship major.
- Conduct TechNext Student Experience trips.
- Raise significant funds to support the student experience trips.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience teaching undergraduate entrepreneurship courses and an MBA degree.
Desired Qualifications
- Extensive experience as an entrepreneur.
- Connection to the entrepreneurship and venture capital communities both in Michigan and in the West Coast (Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, Seattle) for the TechNext Program.
- Connections to potential donors who may contribute to the University.
