Job Description:
The Insurance Representative position is responsible for ensuring medical claims are submitted to the
insurance carriers, meeting claim filing deadlines, and monitoring claims activity.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Skills required:
- Basic arithmetic to make calculations, balance and reconcile figures
- Keyboarding/calculator functions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prioritization skills
Experience required:
- One or more years experience in healthcare billing
- Previous experience working with Medicare preferred
Computer proficiency:
- Must be proficient using computer for navigation and keyboarding
