Indiana Farmers Insurance is currently looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to join our Information Technology Team. This position offers an opportunity to work in home office, a hybrid schedule and/or fully remote.

The right candidate will develop and implement solutions integrating applications across the company and will guide teams in designing, building, testing and deploying changes to existing software. The Integration Engineer will ensure that the final integration requirements and solutions support our vision and provide an outstanding user experience for our members.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Responsibilities for the Integration Engineer:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer technology or other closely related field
  • Three years of programming
  • Knowledge of computers and related peripheral equipment
  • Detail-oriented with a necessary understanding of systems and applications to effect change
  • Successfully complete project development tasks for company initiatives within given timeframe and with high quality
  • Develop and test application software and reports customizing to assist users with various business needs
  • As needed assist in data center tasks (which may include "non-standard" work hours); completing nightly batch cycles, printing reports and other data center special requests
  • Keep abreast of technical trends and changes by reading technical publications and attending workshops and other systems and applications related training
  • Enhance the company's IT infrastructure security protocols
  • Identify manual processes that can be automated
