An INTERIM nursing leadership opportunity is immediately available in the greater Houston area for the Case Management Director! The INTERIM Director Case Management will join this outstanding, award-winning team for a period of 13 weeks.
This 175+ bed short term acute care hospital offers an array of medical specialties to patients in the surrounding communities, including: 24/7 Emergency Services, Inpatient and Outpatient Surgical Services, Women's Services, and Oncology Care. This DNV-accredited hospital is a part of a larger nationally-ranked healthcare system, well-known for its excellence in patient care in the Houston area. The INTERIM Director Case Management will be supported by a strong, tight-knit leadership team, in addition to more than 400 advanced practice providers and over 850 employees.
The INTERIM Case Management Director will provide leadership and oversight for a period of 3 months, executing assigned projects, enhancing service outcomes, improving employee engagement, and collaborating with the team to bring cohesiveness and organization to the Case Management Department. The INTERIM Director Case Management will work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer CNO and Chief Financial Officer CFO to develop and implement departmental plans, and will collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure appropriate utilization of hospital resources. Overseeing a strong team of RN Case Managers and Social Workers, the INTERIM Director will provide support in coordinating and directing patient care and will supervise for appropriate authorization.
