National Aircraft Cleaning & Janitorial Company is seeking third shift detail cleaners to clean the interior of aircrafts at the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.

Qualifications:

Must fulfill FAA requirements to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.

CERTIFICATIONS and/or LICENSES REQUIRED:

Applicable valid driver’s license as required by airport authority in order to operate a vehicle or equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Wipes down interior of aircraft including: windows, seats, seatback pockets, seat tracks, trays, overhead compartment doors, side walls, air grills, leg rails, floor light tracks, passenger service units, ceiling, center vent and center aisle armrests.
• Folds blankets and removes and replaces pillow cases.
• Remove all items from seat back pockets and sweep out all trash with hand. Replace the items back in the seatback in the following order; safety information card, barf bag, airline magazine, Sky Mall magazine and any other media.
• Throw away and replace any damaged item that is placed in the seatback pockets and update monthly magazines.
• Clean sink area, mirror, toilet area; empty trash bins restock feminine products, barf bags, toilet paper hand towels, hand soap and facial tissues in lavatory area.
• Clean bar area, coffee canisters, galley equipment, empty trash bins, and mop floor in galley area.
• Clean pilot seating area, windshield, empty trash and clean floor in cockpit area.
• Clean under seats by lifting all seat cushions once clean replace seat cushion and seatbelts neatly. Check for missing life vests and seals on the container as directed by supervisor. Notify supervisor if any vests are missing.
• Vacuum interior of aircraft using a backpack vacuum. Other duties may be assigned.
