Interior Construction Craftsman Job at University of Tennessee Medical Center
Installs wide variety of fixtures and building system components. Involves projects which require coordination with other trades. Performs general carpentry work, including layout, repair, renovation of temporary and permanent buildings and structures. Performs plastering and sheet rock installation and patching throughout the facility.
Key words: Acoustical ceilings, knock down door frames, drywall hanging & finishing, metal stud framing, VCT and ceramic flooring installation.
Duties and Key Responsibilities Include:
- Establishes communication between other trades on job site
- Follows instruction of construction documents and immediate supervisor
- Keeps supervisor appraised of project status and project needs.
- Maintains tools and equipment.
- Performs adjustments to hardware.
- Ensures job site is clean, safe, and cost effective
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
