Inventory and Staging Material Handler

Job Summary:

Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.

Responsibilities:

· Pull ingredients from storage for staging of daily production runs according to production manager’s instructions.

· Operate the barcode inventory system, Parity Factory, with a high degree of competence and accuracy, assigning all ingredients to specific production runs.

· Make adjustments to Parity Factory inventory for unused ingredients returned to storage or for damaged or lost ingredients.

· Participate in cycle counts (often occurring on weekends, several times per year)

· Assist with organizing inventory storage areas as needed.

· Operate electric ride-on forklifts, and electric pallet jacks.

· Possess the desire and ability to learn and operate Parity Factory (office) on a desktop computer, to make inventory adjustments of various kinds, prepare reports, and research discrepancies.

(Qualifications):

· Must be able to mass drug screen and background check

· Experience in Parity Factory software a PLUS

· Must be detailed oriented

· Must have experience working with materials movement through a manufacturing facility

· Experience in a batch processing production environment is an added benefit.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
