The Inventory & Logistics Senior Manager is responsible for ensuring appropriate inventory levels and accuracy within Duckhorn Portfolio and 3rd party locations of finished case goods and packaging. Collaboration with stakeholders across all departments and 3rd party locations to maximize efficiencies and lead projects and initiatives with all aspects of physical inventory and systems transactions.

What we will ask you to do:

  • Liaison between DP Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse & 3rd party Warehouse Management. – Shipment schedules, release dates, vintage transitions, holds, transfers between DP locations and 3rd party.
  • NAV “Super User” across all sites, assisting with transactions and logistics of in-bound and out-bound shipments of wine and packaging.
  • Communicate vintage transitions, out of stock risks, and low inventory new vintages and new products.
  • Manage the inbound/outbound shipping and scheduling to/from mobile bottling sites and warehouses.
  • Mitigate inventory loss/write-off of FCG. Process damaged/broken cases and consolidation across sites.
  • Collaborate with Winemaking and Quality on library releases to ensure wines are in good condition prior to release.
  • In collaboration with warehouse, QC and Packaging teams, assess damaged inventory/non-conforming product and develop action plans for disposition.
  • Continuous improvement of processes related to inventory movements and systems integrations with 3rd party warehouse locations.
  • Support and implementation of NAV upgrades related to inventory transactions and movements across multiple winery and warehousing sites.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an accredited degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or another ERP system.
  • 5 years of experience in inventory management preferred; Wine knowledge required.
  • Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) with the ability to create complex Excel reporting using data from multiple sources.
  • Knowledge and experience with logistics and inventory best practices.
