The primary purpose of the IT Generalist is to support the WHV team members and residents in their use of technology; work with team members to develop solutions that will make their contributions to WHV more effective and efficient; implement new technology, as needed and support existing technology, as needed.

IT Generalist - Provides IT technical support to residents throughout the White Horse Village Campus consisting of 250+ apartments and homes. Participates in the technical support for daily operations and ongoing maintenance of residential personal computing and wireless network infrastructure.


Description:

This full-time position non-exempt position is available due to our successful growth initiative.

This position will provide support services for a quality centric professional organization under the

guidance and direction of the Sr. Director of IT. While the position will be located in our Newtown

Square PA headquarters, it will require some travel between our apartment and homes within our 96 acres campus supporting 250+ end users.

The successful candidate will have the ability to define IT issues and clearly communicate proposed.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty.

satisfactorily. Individuals should possess:

0-2 years hands-on infrastructure support and network topologies and routers including hands-on.

experience cabling, maintenance with Wireless Access Point, switches, routers, VoIP circuits.

0-2 years desktop (or helpdesk support including Windows 7, 10, MS Office 2007, 201, 2013, 2016)

0-2 years configuring iPhones and Android tablets.

Preference will be given to candidates who also have:

MCSE Certification, MCSA Certification, or A+ Certification


Responsibilities:


  • Stellar Customer Service skills combined with the ability to professionally interface and

communicate (both written and verbally) with internal customers (coworkers & management) and vendors in a clear, concise and professional manner are paramount to the success of this role.

  • Demonstrated history of successful problem-solving skills in a collaborative, deadline driven environment with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills are needed to identify and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Dependable, Reliable and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
