IT Help Desk Representative - Part Time Job at Plastipak Careers

As IT Help Desk Representative, you interact with all levels and departments, providing technical support to users while upholding service-level agreements and the high standards for which the Plastipak IT Help Desk is known.
You Will
- Provide first level technical support to end users for all systems and ensure appropriate escalation to specialist teams when necessary
- Troubleshoot computer related issues over the phone for local and remote users
- Flex, according to situational needs, by following procedural protocols and recognizing when deviation from accepted practices is required
- Ensure faults are identified and repaired in accordance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Ensure repaired equipment is tested and performs to an agreed standard
- Be compensated $25 an hour in this role
You Have
- MUST be able to work a standard schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, including holidays, from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
- Bachelor’s degree or currently in pursuit of an educational degree is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills to assist non-technical users in a professional and friendly manner
- PC literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook required
- Experience with Windows 7, XP, Vista and/or Windows 10 required
- Understanding of LAN and Networking concepts preferred
- Web programming experience (JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, PHP, C, C++, CSS, XML, and SQL) preferred
