Job Description:
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Respond to all staff and physician chat, email or phone requests for support to resolve basic computer, application, system, device, access, or performance issues.
  • Manage support requests for phones, computers, network access, etc. and escalate to IT Specialists and/or System Administrators as needed
  • Provide support in person, over the phone, or via remote access
  • Perform technical diagnosis and troubleshooting for users with hardware, software, peripherals, and connectivity issues. Identify, prioritize and resolve end user technical problems and questions.
  • Install and upgrade hardware and software systems
  • Provide basic computer training as needed to new staff or physicians
  • Follow up with staff and physicians and complete support tickets
Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
  • Associate degree in information systems, computer science or related field; or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
Experience:
  • 1+ year of diverse experience in the information technology field.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Extensive technical knowledge of computer hardware and software, including usage, installation, repair and configuration.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, a customer service focus.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently under deadline pressure.
  • Must be able to work independently; resourceful and action-oriented.
Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.):
  • Able to travel to different company work locations.
  • Ability to work occasional evening or weekend hours as needed to complete projects or resolve problems.
