The IT Security Specialist is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and responding to our IT Security systems and reports, improving our company's Cybersecurity posture, and promoting a more secure environment for our employees and our customers.

What you will be doing each day:

· Reviewing and responding to security alerts and vulnerability warnings across all company systems.

· Coordinating and reviewing regular reports from 3rd party Cybersecurity monitoring agents.

· Auditing and enhancing company security culture through policy development and enforcement.

· Visiting various company locations to review security systems and compliance.

· Assisting the IT department in system maintenance and troubleshooting to eliminate vulnerabilities, patch software flaws, and maintain secure environments.

We are looking for individuals with:

Professional training or experience in IT support and security. Associates Degree preferred or a minimum of 1-3 years of related experience. Cybersecurity experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with the following systems or environments is preferred:

Windows 10

Windows Server

TCP/IP

VMWare virtual environments

Microsoft 365

Active Directory

Azure AD

SAML, Kerberos

KnowBe4

Elastic ('ELK') Stack

Cisco / Meraki networking
