About this opportunityThe IT Site Administrator position is responsible for the installation, configuration and support of all IT equipment for the designated location. In addition, the IT Site Admin ensures the operability, security, backup and recoverability of all IT devices for the site, and coordinates IT requests between end users and IT resources. IT Site Admin integrates with the local manufacturing operations team and acts as a site liaison between the local site and corporate IT.

What you will do

• Provide customers with a stable, secure, and recoverable environment for applications.
• Ensure clear and consistent communications with other IT members as well as the user community
• Ensure proper configuration and implementation of hardware and software components.
• Research and recommend software products to assist with business requirements.
• Maintain all IT policies and procedures as required for operations and 52-109 (Similar to SOX).
• Provide end-user support for all IT equipment.
• Executes Global IT projects locally
• Provide telephone system support.
• Maintains site asset inventory
• Creation and tracking of support tickets using ServiceNOW

What you offer

• Technical and/or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of deploying, supporting, and maintaining endpoint devices
• Operating systems: PC (Windows 10, OSX, WyseOS, and IOS)
• Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
• Work in an environment supporting 250+ users
• Proven communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Able to quickly and effectively analyze source of problems in order to implement a timely resolution
• Able to work under pressure and provide support in a 24/7 environment; available for on call support
• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
• Able to quickly learn new technologies and the operating environment including security and recovery requirements of TC Transcontinental Packaging
• Previous experience with AS-400 is an asset
