Duties

  • Provide technical support duties to customer support personnel.
  • Diagnoses and resolves problems in response to customer reported incidents.
  • Researches, evaluates, and provides feedback on problematic trends and patterns.
  • Sets system security levels based on under performance and appropriate regulations.
  • Develops and documents standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with accreditation procedures and policies.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess the following:
  • Will possess at least one (1) year of experience that provided a basic knowledge of data processing functions, system installation and general management principles that enabled you to understand the stages required to automate a work process? The experience may have been gained in work such as computer operator or assistant, computer sales representative, program analyst, or other positions that required the use or adaptation of computer programs and systems. OR
  • Have completed a two-year degree with a major course of study in computer science, information science, information systems management, or course work that required the development or adaptation of computer programs and systems and provided knowledge equivalent to a major in the computer field.

Highly Preferred Criteria:
Applicants meeting both minimum qualifications and the Highly Preferred Criteria will be considered as Highly Preferred Applicants. Highly Preferred Applicants will be referred to management for consideration first. All other qualified applicants will be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list.

The following will be used as Highly Preferred Criteria:
  • Must possess at least one (1) year experience in implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) & Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Benchmarks, POA&M and troubleshooting. AND
  • Must possess or be able to obtain within 6 months of employment a CompTIA Security+ AND a CompTIA A+ certifications.
Note: If claiming consideration under the Highly Preferred Criteria of possessing a CompTIA Security+ AND a CompTIA A+ certifications, the certifications must be uploaded at time of application.
