Our enterprise-level client in Vance, AL, has an immediate need for three (3) IT Shop Floor Technicians across multiple 12-hour shifts in a factory setting.

Job Notes:
--6+ month contract / extendable and likely to go perm with good performance.
--ASAP start date
--3 openings
--Onsite in Vance, Alabama
--Drug & Background check required.
--Entry-level IT role – some IT training and experience preferred.
--No vaccination required.

Shift Details:
- Client uses a 12-hour shift model.
- The shifts will be as follows:
Hours: 6am – 6pm or 6pm – 6am
Week 1 will be a 3 day week (Off days Consecutive, so 4 days off)
Week 2 will be a 4 day week (Off days Consecutive, so 3 days off)
Note: This will be after the training period.
- If the candidate is chosen for the night shift, a 10% increase to the pay and bill rate will be given.
- The days worked will either be Sunday - Tuesday or Wednesday - Friday and then every other Saturday the candidate is expected to work.
- The candidate must be willing to work the day or night shift. After the training period they will be assigned to one or the other, but they are not guaranteed to work a certain shift until after the training period when it's assigned. Client will not consider any candidates who aren't flexible on the shift they can work.

Internal Job Notes:
Project = Shop floor support for factory devices and printers
Experience level = Some previous experience preferred, entry level can be trained

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of technical work activities either remotely or at customer site to meet business and customer requirements.
• Coordinate small teams delivering basic work packages in line with company process to meet business and customer requirements.
• Document and reports on work completed to ensure compliance with Company and Customer Procedures.
• Escalate issues in line with company processes to ensure customer demands are met and evaluate escalations and action appropriately to ensure customer demands are met.
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers to ensure consistent experience.

• Able to follow instructions and procedures
• Proven experience in IT Desktop Service environment.
• Uses information systems, technology functions and applications in line with IT industry standards as appropriate to the role
• Demonstrates an organized approach to work.
• Demonstrates customer service abilities
• Routine administrative skills
• Good interpersonal skills, basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Demonstrates awareness of health and safety at work.
