IT Support Specialist - YCA Ft. Stewart Job at State of Georgia
- Diagnose software and hardware problems with network connected computers and servers
- Assist staff with a variety of IT related problems including program specific applications
- Track, prioritize, and document requests using an IT support request system
- Install and configure new computers and other IT equipment such as servers, switches, access points, and VOIP phone systems
- Repair and upgrade different types of computers (software and hardware)
- Identify problems with and repair printers and scanners on the network
- Keep track of IT supplies and equipment
- Perform regular maintenance and updates of all IT equipment to include servers, switches, printers, and other connected devices
- Research and learn, and make recommendations to the director about new software in the market that relates to the organization’s functions
- Ability to troubleshoot multifaceted problems in a systematic manner
