The Janitorial Coordinator is re s pon s i b le for the maintenan c e and enhancement of The Vendor Manage m ent S ys tem and performan c e a c ti v ity related to v e ndor operations, effi c ien c y, and r i s k. Spe c ific re s pon s ibi l iti e s in cl ude but are not limited to o v er s i g ht and go v ernan c e of v endor perfo r ma nc e mea s urement and management, deplo y ment o f v endor perfor m an c e sc ore c ards as well as org a ni z ation and fa c ilita t ion o f the c ro ss - c lient Supplier Bu s in e s s Re v iew pro c e ss.
In addition, the i ndi v idual in th i s role is a l s o re s p o n s ible to en s ure appropriate a c tion s , plans and fo l low-up a c ti v ity is in pla c e to dri v e impro v ed v endor perform a n c e. This ind i v i d ual will proa c t i v e ly monitor s trategic s upp l ier s ’ s e r v i c e de l i v ery a c ti v itie s , priorit i z ing and e sc alating a cc ordingly to f u n c tional and s e n ior leader s hip to en s ure c lient brand prote c tion, c o mplian c e to ob li gations and tim e ly e x e c u t ion of deli v erable s .
The Vendor Coordinator implements and oversees process improvement initiatives of Procurement activities and Action plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and Scheduling
- Schedules Supplier Business Reviews, collects and prepares data, decks and maintains action register
- Develops, recommends and facilitates Vendor Performance improvement plans
- Drive weekly meeting material and presentation with the direct client
Vendor Qualification
- Engages with vendors and Sourcing/SCA teams to ensure requirements are maintained
- Timely Vendor Payment - engages with Vendors and Finance/FSSC to ensure requirements are maintained
- Work order Closure - engages with Finance/Operations Centre and Vendors to ensure requirements are maintained
- Vendor Training - engages with Operations and Vendors to ensure requirements are maintained, monitors and reports results
- Owner of Monthly vendor meeting material, conversation and actions to realize client goals
Continuous Improvement
- Leads the identi f i c ation and im pl ementation of performan c e metr i c s to mea s ure s upplier perform a n c e
- Leads s upplier p erforman c e me as urement and management
- Handles escalations and manage dispute resolution process
- Inno v ation - engages with O perat i on s / Sour c ing /F i nan c e to monitor and report re s u l ts
- Pro v ides Vendor Management, Clearsite and Real Suite s u bje c t matter e x perti s e
- Works in collaboration with Facility Management Office in deployment of new programs with vendors
- Effectively manages relationship with external partners is integral in ensuring continued service delivery and customer satisfaction

Required Education, Knowledge, and Abilities
- College diploma in related field with 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in Facility Management services
- Solid understanding of Vendor Management concepts and best practices
- Proven experience developing and managing successful relationships with vendors/suppliers, including providing feedback on performance metrics and deliverables
- Understanding of contract law including the completion of related courses, and the proven ability to draft, edit and review complex services contracts
- Strong verbal and written communications skills in English & Spanish or French is an asset
- Superior organizational, prioritization and time management skills
- Excellent problem solving, strategic thinking and planning and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to present directly to upper management on client side
- Proven ability to analyze complex, often ambiguous, data and produce comprehensive recommendations and proposals
- High degree of business ethics and accountability
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
- Professional designation in Supply Chain Management or equivalent is an asset (SCMP/CPP, ISM)
- Janitorial vendor experience is preferred.

BGIS is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. BGIS has different pay ranges for different work locations within the United States which allows us to pay team members competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location.
The salary range for this non-exempt position in the US is $36.05 - $40.86
A candidate’s salary offer is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, certifications, licenses, and location.
