Janitorial Managers - Citi Field Stadium 2023 Season Job at Alliance Building Services

As a Seasonal Janitorial Manager, you handle the successful delivery of all aspects of the nightly, in-stadium maintenance services in order to guarantee a spotless facility. Maintenance services include in-game and post-game cleaning of entire stadium including stands, seats, locker rooms, public areas, and rest room maintenance. This position pays $28-$31 per hour.
Responsibilities include:
- Directing and managing maintenance crew.
- Assigning tasks and following up on completion.
- Guiding the workers to effectively for best results.
- Aiding in resolving operational issues and discipline of maintenance staff.
- Performing quality control inspections and reviews.
- Ensuring enough supplies, equipment and tools are always on-hand.
- Aiding with inventory control and managing equipment as directed.
- Maintaining a safe physical environment to prevent slips, trips and falls of employees and visitors.
- Reviewing and approving staff schedules, timekeeping, attendance and payroll.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 plus years’ experience in custodial/maintenance/housekeeping field in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior Managerial experience, preferably in union environment.
- Professional appearance and communication ability.
- Ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, overnight and weekends, with flexibility to work added hours as needed.
- You must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods, in all types of weather.
- Experience working in sporting venue, concert hall, arena or other large public venue is preferable.
- Must be flexible to work any shift, days, afternoons, nights.
