Essential Job Functions:

• Establish sound, positive relationship with the community and clients by marketing the program to funders, families, school personnel, and potential clients.
• Utilize relationship building and strong customer service with funding sources along with community outreach and personal network to increase referrals.
• Foster and maintain meaningful relationships with potential, current, and past employers/volunteer sites that demonstrate the passionate commitment of the Agency to its mission of life without limits for those with disabilities.
• Complete direct services which primarily include discovery, exploration, job preparation, job development, transporting clients to and from assessment activities and to and from job interviews as needed, and may include coaching and long-term supports.
• Develop professional outcomes, goals, client resumes, cover letters, and other internal and external communications.
• Assist clients with practice/mock interviews to ensure that they are prepared and ready for job interviews.
• Coordinate, arrange for, and/or provide supports needed at the job sites to minimize job losses and meet minimum contact requirements.
• Ensure that services, documentation, support plans, data collection and progress summaries are completed accurately and within designated time frames both by participating in these processes and through the monitoring of client case files.
• Proactively foster client and employer satisfaction by providing job coaching and follow-along support to program participants, which may include physical or mechanical assistance and may require extended periods of standing or walking for up to 8 consecutive hours.
