As a Junior Accountant, you will:

• Own Accounts Payable processes, including onboarding new vendors, tracking W-9s, and processing 1099s
• Own Accounts Receivable processes and assist with creating client invoices
• Partner with finance team to build and maintain financial reporting dashboards in our business intelligence system
• Work with Senior Accountant to drive month-end close procedures
• Oversee and manage company credit card and expense reimbursement processes using Ramp
• Assist with annual financial audit
• Develop Ad hoc reporting and projects

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree (Finance or Accounting preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience in a professional work environment
• Ability to travel to the office 1-day per week (Evanston, IL)
• A resourceful self-starter who takes initiative and ownership over processes
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional customer service skills
• A creative, problem-solving mindset
• Eagerness to complete a tasks on-time and correctly
• Proficiency in Excel and G-Suite
• QuickBooks experience is preferred
