Junior Staff Accountant

The Swift Group is seeking a results-driven Junior Staff Accountant to support financial operations. The Junior Staff Accountant will report directly to the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for performing numerous aspects of the accounting function.
The successful candidate must be detail oriented with the ability to work independently. The position involves performing multiple accounting functions for a mid-size federal contractor. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy.
Responsibilities:
· Application of Cash Receipts
· Accounts Payable
· Credit Card Management
· Track and Pay corporate filings
· Support Audit
· Support Payroll
· Timesheet Monitoring & Management
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field.
· 1-3 years of accounting experience
· Experience with Deltek Costpoint is a plus
· Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite with a focus on Excel.
· Knowledge of accounting standards and industry regulations as it relates to federal contracting.
· Superb organizational and time management abilities.
· Excellent listening, communication, and collaboration skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,578.00 - $50,685.00 per year
