Full Time Tour Guide with optional housing
Past experience as a tour guide is a must. We are looking for the following qualities:
Good storyteller – someone who likes talking and engaging with questions.
Experienced kayaker (you should be good at kayaking so that you can teach, guide and rescue those on tours) who has snorkel experience (best if you have done this multiple times) and is a strong swimmer.
Strong person– to carry/lift kayaker and gear
Interest in marine, wildlife and history – we will train you, but you should make it your own adding new facts based on your own knowledge or research.
You must be a good driver and have a drivers license
Photography skills: Guides can sell photo packages for $40 per group and they keep the money.
Minimum 6 months employment contract
Pluses, but not required for an interview: knowledge of local history and wildlife (especially marine life).
Pay/benefits:
Pay is based on experience. Optional housing included is available, if needed.
Optional housing is available is a private small studio with private bath near the beach for a single applicant or a couple with approval (without pets).

Pay: $80.00 - $160.00 per day

- Applicant must be a STRONG SWIMMER and have at least one year as a kayak/snorkel guide and have experience in both kayaking and snorkeling.
