Summary
Kering is seeking a seasoned, proactive Facilities Manager for our Americas offices. This position will be based at our Wayne, NJ operations center but will include oversight of the Manhattan office. Our ideal candidate is a service-oriented individual who understands the inner workings of facilities, preferably with experience in distribution center environments. They should possess good communication skills, excellent organizational skills, a broad knowledge of building operations and mechanics, plus project management experience. The Facilities Manager will help promote a welcoming atmosphere through responsive and considerate problem solving, working with vendors and partners to promote a clean, safe, and welcoming work environment aligned with Kering’s standards.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
  • Manage maintenance, mailroom, and cleaning teams, including external vendors.
  • Coordinate and delegate cleaning, preventative maintenance, and repair tasks to team members, including routine inspections.
  • Provide onsite support for all building related issues.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling program.
  • Manage office and DC operating and capex budgets with Hospitality & Finance teams.
  • Manage environmental and energy tracking and reporting, aligned with Sustainability team objectives and processes.
  • Provide timely responses for all building-related emergencies, sometimes during off hours. Partner with Security team for emergency preparedness for all facilities. Monitor weather conditions to ensure continued building operations.
  • Manage supply ordering for distribution center and office. Work with Logistics and Procurement to streamline processes.
  • Oversee building and grounds maintenance with a safety mindset, conducting and documenting regular facilities inspections.
  • Ensure building compliance with local regulations and laws.
  • Work with maintenance team to oversee facilities improvement and repair projects. Work with Construction, Procurement, Logistics, and Hospitality on all large-scale projects within Kering offices & distribution centers.
  • Manage service contracts, working with procurement and legal to vet vendors and negotiate contracts.
  • Proactively recommend maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
  • Work collaboratively with distribution center operator
  • Partner with Health & Safety to manage building-related incidents.
WHO YOU ARE
  • 10+ years experience in facilities or property management, preferably with experience within a distribution center environment.
  • Ideally experience or certification in OSHA guidelines
  • Strong project management skills including decision making and problem solving.
  • Experience managing a facility operating budget.
  • Customer service mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Technical engineering experience.
  • Degree in facilities management, engineering, or property management a plus
