Kids Club Attendant (Babysitting) Job at New Canaan Community YMCA, Inc.

Are you looking for a flexible part-time work opportunity that will also provide FREE YMCA membership and encourage you to take time for your own well-being?
My Playroom is the New Canaan Y’s drop-in babysitting program available to our members while they use our facility. We are looking for caring staff to provide a safe environment for play, games, and arts and crafts. My Playroom is available for children 6 months and older (children must be able to sit up on their own), while parents/guardians use the Y facilities.
Candidates should:
- be 18 years of age or older
- be Able to commit to 8 - 10 hours a week.
- have a minimum 2 years experience in babysitting and/or childcare environment.
- Demonstrate caring for all children and responsibility in their role.
- Have confidence to take control and make sound decisions easily.
- Provide creative activities and play for the children in their care (using supplies provided by the Y)

Available shifts are:
- Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
- Saturday 8:15 AM-12:15 PM
- Sunday 9:00 AM-12:15 PM
