Kitchen Assistant - assisted living facility Job at Valley Cares, Inc.

We have a full-time, 32 hour per week cook position. This includes 8-hour shifts on the 11am-7pm shift or a combination of the 6am-2pm and 11am-7pm shifts. We can discuss your preference. The assisted living is staffed 7 days/week, so every other weekend is required, as are some holidays.

Responsibilities and Duties
Assist in food preparation and service in accordance with residents’ dietary needs and the facility menu. Assist manager in assuring proper receiving, storage, preparation, serving, sanitation and cleaning procedures are followed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Able to organize and utilize time appropriately to accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- At least 1 year of food service experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
