Effective immediately the Child Nutrition Office will accept applications for Kitchen Assistant/Cashier position at multiple schools. This position begins as soon as possible. The salary range is based on the 2022-2023 salary schedule between ISD #197 and Local #284.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in forecasting daily meal needs and communicates accordingly with person in charge.
- Assist with preparing and serving meals for students, staff and special functions.
- Effectively operate the Point of Sale System and able to handle money and prepare bank deposits effectively
- Ensures that each reimbursable meal sold meets USDA requirements.
- Performs a variety of kitchen cleaning duties.
- Assist with setting up serving line and serves meals according to meal patterns.
- Projects a positive & professional image of themselves, their school and the Child Nutrition Program to all customers, staff and parents.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.29 - $19.79 per hour
