Join the Fraud Prevention Labor Standards Apprenticeship program as an Office Assistant 3! In this role, you’ll support enforcement of state and federal statutes related to registered apprenticeship, including the Washington State Apprenticeship Act, chapter 49.04 RCW; the National Apprenticeship Act, 29 U.S.C. 50; Apprenticeship Programs, Title 29 Part 29 CFR; and Equal Employment Opportunity in Apprenticeship and Training, Title 29 Part 30 CFR which govern employment and training in apprenticeable occupations. They are part of all Apprenticeship Agreements and bind signers to compliance with all provisions of Registered Apprenticeship.

You’ll also support the goals of the Governor and the Department of Labor and Industries to expand Apprenticeship in the interest of developing demand-driven employment and training services for a highly-qualified and highly-skilled workforce.


Duties

Some of what you’ll do:

  • Maintain shared email box, responding or routing as appropriate. Reviews documents for completeness, accuracy and compliance within office procedures and established protocols
  • Key data into ARTS and properly process Transfer Agreement forms, Training Agent Agreement Forms, Signatory Authority Petitions, RSI/OJT forms and any other forms as assigned. Save email with documents in electronic file folder for document retention purposes
  • Compose and edit correspondence, reviewing for form, content and consistency with Apprenticeship Section & Agency statute, rules and policies.
  • Print, sort and assemble certificate of completions, completion letters and journeymen cards on a weekly basis.
  • Organize meetings, including scheduling and notification to meeting participants, reserving meeting and/or event space.
  • Maintain established section electronic and manual filing systems.

REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
