Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Medical Lab Technologists perform clinical testing in one or more of the following areas: blood bank, chemistry, serology, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, special chemistry, microbiology, and manual tests. • You will perform automated, semi-automated, and manual procedures in the fields of bacteriology, parasitology, hematology, coagulation, serology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, and immunohematology. According to established procedures and policies.
• You will perform preventative maintenance on laboratory instrumentation, interpret results as to their accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits and organizes work to meet established deadlines, and record all data obtained.
• You will work actively and cooperate with nursing and other hospital staff to ensure timely patient care and assist with regulatory compliance.
• You will be responsible for the instruction of MT and TLT students.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist license per the State Board
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college or university
• At least two years of acute care hospital experience

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
