Position Summary:
Assists with procedures and other patient care activities under direct supervision of RN
a. Works with team leader/charge nurse for patient care assignments.
b. Assists with room turnover: cleaning and preparation.
c. Demonstrates competence in assisting with procedures.
d. Assists MD and RN with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
e. Demonstrates competence in applying aseptic technique.
Position Qualification:
High school diploma or GED.
One to three months experience and/or training.
Years of Experience can be related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
