Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's or bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or related field. Required: Familiarity with MS Office (Excel) or other spreadsheet-based applications.
Preferred:
Candidates with data entry or sample management experience. Knowledge of sample repository/sample inventory software / Benchling databases a plus. Previous industry experience working with biological samples preferred. Familiarity with biosafety level classification or infectious disease classification (BSL2 or BSL3 environments) a plus.
About You: The ideal candidate must be comfortable primarily working by themselves but be willing to work in a small team when needed and able to take direction.
Responsibilities:
This position will entail the registration and inventory of research samples. Individual will work with staff scientists to catalog research samples and enter information into a sample management database.
