M. ERBS Fine gardens is a well-established landscape design and build firm specializing in high-end residential landscapes. Our creative team of designers, office staff, gardeners and stoneworkers construct and maintain a wide variety of properties throughout North New Jersey.
We are seeking a passionate and hands-on crew member to join our landscape construction team.
Description: Assist Construction Supervisor with various stonework projects - Bluestone or paver patios and walkways, stone walls and concrete work. Could include general landscaping such as drainage, grading, planting etc. as well.
We typically report daily to our yard in Boonton at 8:00 AM - but start and end times can vary. Reliable transportation to and from the yard is A MUST!
The ideal candidate would have:
- At least one (1) year of some sort of stone or masonry experience
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- High energy and strength (the ability to carry 50+ lbs.)
- A neat appearance and a positive attitude
- Ability to work long hours during the season, in all types of weather
- A reliable, responsible, self-motivated personality
- Good communication skills – English a plus, bilingual even better
- Ethical and caring values
- Ability to take direction from senior employees and work as a team, as well as independently
Pay would be determined by experience and knowledge. 401(k) with employer match.
