Landscaper Job Description: We are seeking a hard-working and dedicated landscape laborer to join our team in Huntersville, NC. Landscapers are responsible for performing various tasks to maintain and improve outdoor spaces, such as parks, gardens, and residential properties.
Landscaper Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of landscaping features, such as plants, trees, and shrubs
- Maintain outdoor spaces by mowing lawns, pruning plants, and removing debris
- Assist with the construction of hardscaping features, such as patios, retaining walls, and sidewalks
- Operate and maintain landscape equipment, such as mowers, edgers, and power tools
- Load and unload materials and equipment at job sites
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the job site
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Landscaper Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (landscapers will need to be able to drive company vehicles when required)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background and DMV check
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and horticulture
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary
