Lead assists Manager or Supervisor with day to day janitorial operations. Ensures that quality control measures are in place to maintain high levels of service. Conducts inspections and maintains equipment. May be assigned General Cleaner duties. Responsible for excellent client relations. Position reports to manager or supervisor.
- POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Lead and direct the operations of assigned staff. This includes both regular cleaning operations and specialty operations.
- Ensures that all employees adhere to all Company rules and policies.
- Assists in building inspections and follows up on cleaners.
- Conducts regulatory and safety awareness training.
- Informs Manager, Supervisor or DM that Corrective disciplinary action or counseling may be required.
- Promote and exhibit Company culture and values.
- Maintains daily communication within your account with cleaners to resolve issues or problems. Investigate employee incidents and accidents and reports them to the supervisor or manager.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- High School Diploma/GED. Will consider experience in lieu of educational requirements.
- 1 to 2 years experience in janitorial services or other service related field.
- Excellent organizational, customer service and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer experience, emails and Word.
- Ability to multi task.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking and kneeling.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
