Lead Coagulation Scientist
- Full-Time/Permanent Position
- Perform manual esoteric coagulation testing
- Oversee 4 direct reports
- $10,000 sign-on bonus available!

- Pay Range: $80k-100k
- Perform validation on a high diversity of testing
- Mentor and train new medical technologists in esoteric coagulation testing
- Enact testing automation
- Maintain cutting edge testing and research
- Work with human resources to recruit, attract, and retain talent
- Onboard, train, and develop lab staff
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory audits
- Ensure the lab follows all recommended standard operating procedures as well as regulatory and compliance guidelines
- Review and revamp policies and procedures, as needed
- Manage daily workload and schedule for all technologists
- Assist in the implementation and inventory of instruments and supplies
- Manage patient records and lab reporting
- Assist in developing and maintaining annual budgets
- Perform process improvement while maintaining a high standard of quality and excellence
- 5 years of direct clinical coagulation lab experience, required
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution, required
- ASCP certification, required
- The ability to become licensed in Tennessee post-hire, required
