Job Description:

A Team Leader is an active individual that manages and assists numerous employees and positions in their day-to-day operations. Motivated Team Leaders will be an influential role model that establishes a strong Camp team and provides excellent customer relations. Successful candidates will be positive individuals with strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Candidates should thrive in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment and must have a love of dogs, all sizes and breeds. Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides high-quality customer service while helping to maintaining operational and cleanliness standards.
• Answers phone calls and emails. Makes reservations, checks Campers in and out utilizing company software.
• Problem solve any dog behavior issues to help ensure safety for all Campers and Camp Counselors.
• Effectively communicate with owners regarding their dog’s behavior and any pertinent information about their visit to Camp.
• Maintain confidentiality with all business and staff related information and situations.
• Responsible for staff management during their shift. Ensure that the shift is running smoothly and all tasks are being completed thoroughly in a timely manner.
• Assists in ensuring that staff is fully trained and has a full knowledge of all processes and procedures.
• Document communication with clients appropriately.
• Prepares all required reports and paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma required. Associate’s Degree preferred
• One year minimum vet/kennel experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of general business operations
• Demonstrated proficiency in supervising/overseeing staff and motivating subordinates
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Frequently required to stand, sit and walk.
• Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, or kneel.
• Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items more than 50 pounds
• Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
• Continually subjected to loud noise from barking dogs
• The possibility of receiving minor injuries from dogs including but not limited to bruises, scratches, and dog bites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.25 per hour
