Job Description:
A Team Leader is an active individual that manages and assists numerous employees and positions in their day-to-day operations. Motivated Team Leaders will be an influential role model that establishes a strong Camp team and provides excellent customer relations. Successful candidates will be positive individuals with strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Candidates should thrive in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment and must have a love of dogs, all sizes and breeds. Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides high-quality customer service while helping to maintaining operational and cleanliness standards.
- Answers phone calls and emails. Makes reservations, checks Campers in and out utilizing company software.
- Problem solve any dog behavior issues to help ensure safety for all Campers and Camp Counselors.
- Effectively communicate with owners regarding their dog’s behavior and any pertinent information about their visit to Camp.
- Maintain confidentiality with all business and staff related information and situations.
- Responsible for staff management during their shift. Ensure that the shift is running smoothly and all tasks are being completed thoroughly in a timely manner.
- Assists in ensuring that staff is fully trained and has a full knowledge of all processes and procedures.
- Document communication with clients appropriately.
- Prepares all required reports and paperwork.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma required. Associate’s Degree preferred
- One year minimum vet/kennel experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of general business operations
- Demonstrated proficiency in supervising/overseeing staff and motivating subordinates
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently required to stand, sit and walk.
- Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, or kneel.
- Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items more than 50 pounds
- Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
- Continually subjected to loud noise from barking dogs
- The possibility of receiving minor injuries from dogs including but not limited to bruises, scratches, and dog bites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.25 per hour
