Job summary
- Support and routinely assess the Inflight Training Instructors.
- Promotes performance expectations through verbal and written evaluations.
- Oversees the successful completion of Instructor assigned projects through appropriate planning.
- Responsible for monitoring project progress, inspecting completed work for quality and evaluating project success.
- Ensures safe working procedures are observed.
- Generates project progress reports and identify's next steps. Forwards weekly updates to the Manager of Inflight Training, Manager of Inflight Standards, and Inflight Training Coordinator.
- Responsible for the administrative functions associated with the building of Initial and/or Recurrent Instructor schedules, preparing Part-time Instructor bid lines and pay sheets.
- Coordinates scheduling swaps, and reassignments.
- Monitors equipment and classroom supplies and communicates new orders to the Inflight Training Coordinator.
- Timely reporting on Training incidents and accident reports.
- Responsible for conducting regular classroom observations and providing feedback to Instructors and the Inflight Standards team.
- Coordinates the Initial and Recurrent Train the Trainer (TTT) events and is an integral part of the instruction during TTT.
- 35% Travel estimated
- Assists the Manager of Inflight Training as needed.
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change due to operational needs.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Proven leadership ability
- Ability to provide constructive feedback
- FAA Flight Attendant Certificate
- Minimum of one (1) year Flight Attendant experience
- Minimum of two (2) years Instructor or Supervisor experience
