Bloomsbury of Kanaka Creek Farm is Hiring.

We are a female owned business located in Stevenson, Washington, just 45 minutes East of Vancouver Washington and Portland, Oregon. We are a full-service flower shop specializing in Destination Weddings throughout the Columbia River Gorge.

This Position is for a lead Wedding and Event floral designer.

Responsibilities include:

· Designing and overseeing other designers on all aspects of wedding design, set up, and installations.

· Assist our wedding planner on proposals with pricing, research, ordering and buying.

· Consulting with couples on their vision and assisting planner on proposals as needed.

· Creating mood boards for design inspiration

· Process and receive fresh flowers

· Plan and order flowers for weddings and events

Qualifications:

· 3-5 years’ experience in designing wedding florals

· Knowledge in current floral trends and design

· Must be available to work weekends May-October and some during the off season.

· Flexible schedule to accommodate a busy season May through October

· Positive attitude and works well in a team environment

· Must work well under pressure and deadlines.

· Good driving record

· This is a physically demanding position and requires lifting and being on your feet all day.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

Experience:

• Floral design: 3 years (Required)
