POSITION OVERVIEW
- Renolit Healthcare Market Unit has started the deployment of LEAN principles throughout its manufacturing sites. The LEAN Coach will help Commerce site leadership team drive this journey of profound changes. The Lean Coach will guide the facility through the Lean journey, providing ongoing teaching and coaching of lean principles, theories, practices and drives ownership and adoption. The Lean coach will ensure the coherence of Commerce LEAN implementation with principles adopted within SMU healthcare.
- Create the lean vision and continuous improvement strategy
- Coach leaders and other employees in lean methodology and principles
- Support teams in their day-to-day tasks associated with LEAN deployment
- Ensure compliance with standard processes and tools. Develop a culture of system, process, and behavior discipline to get results
- Develop and keep track of overall LEAN road map for the site and ensure adherence to this road map
- Measure LEAN implementation progress and LEAN implementation results through quantitative and qualitative indicators.
- Motivate and inspire teams: share vision, celebrate success, extract useful learning from failures
- Support LEAN leaders in the development of new management tools such as Management boards, Value stream mapping, Gamba walks, Flow analysis, Standard work instructions.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading teams in a lean transformation(s) where both lean leadership and change management up, across, and down through the organization was demonstrated.
- History of leadership thru influence, coaching, mentoring, and teaching. Ability to foster lean development with a “hands on” and showing by doing approach.
