Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP’s Stamford office has an opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant to join the Firm’s corporate & business team. Carmody has been advising individuals, public and privately held companies, governmental entities and non-profit organizations on business matters for more than a century. With deep roots in the business community, we are known for bringing practical guidance and creative solutions to the most complex business issues. This position supports the delivery of quality client services by providing administrative support to attorneys working in the transactional and environmental practice groups.
Skill requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to efficiently manage multiple assignments, calendars and scheduling
- Excellent organizational and follow up skills
- The ability to work independently
- Must possess strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
-Ability to support multiple attorneys as primary assignments and also provide back-up secretarial assistance to others as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 3 years’ legal administrative assistant experience; working knowledge of LMS+ timekeeping software and Worldox or other document management system.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
