Title- Library Technician
Location- Washington Navy Yard, DC 20374

Duration: 1 year with possible extension.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
· The contractor shall provide library support services to ensure efficient operations and effective collections management.
· Required tasks shall include:
· Supporting typical library functions to include basic circulation and collection management tasks (shelf-reading, re-shelving, stack maintenance, inventorying, cleaning/dusting)
· Digitizing and organizing documents
· Inputting data and/or metadata into library systems, databases, and other documents
· Reproducing, collating, transcribing, and reviewing relevant documents
· Developing and designing document templates
· Compiling information in support of reference requests, publications, or historical products
· Assisting with Library Branch information technology and equipment
· Editing written documents and digital files
· Office coverage, task management, and follow-up of phone calls, meetings, email requests, and various other forms of correspondence.
· Follow-up to ensure that all tasks are completed on schedule and according to expectations.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.20 - $25.00 per hour
