About the Position: Children’s Recovery Center is currently recruiting for a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to provide short-term crisis response, stabilization, and intervention for youth and children experiencing a metal health or chemical dependency crisis. The person selected for this position will provide assessments, short-term counseling, crisis management, and collaborative crisis planning for the delivery of services to adolescents and their families. Candidates must have a licensed in a mental health field or have approved supervision for licensure. The incumbent will be trained in a variety of assessments tools and evidence-based interventions. Currently under supervision? We may be able to provide a licensure supervisor.
Responsibilities:
  • Member of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Provides weekly individual, family, and group counseling.
  • Provides crisis intervention and is part of the milieu on the unit
  • Maintains a safe, trauma-informed environment for clients, families, and staff.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • LBHP: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and must be a practitioner with a license to practice in the state issued by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH).
  • LCBHP: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and must be actively and regularly receiving board approved supervision, extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if board’s supervision requirement is met but the individual is not yet licensed, to become licensed by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology, Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner or Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

  • Salary Range: (based on experience, tenure, and certifications)
    • Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LBHP) $61,000 - $65,000
    • Licensed Candidate Behavioral Health Professional (LCBHP) $56,000 - $57,000
    • Full Compensation range of $67,599.00 to $89,849.00, depending on the number of covered dependents. Compensation range to include base salary, retirement, and benefits allowance to help you pay for your benefits.
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
Additional Compensation: Along with our great benefits we also offer addition compensation for working outside of normal business hours!
  • Evening – extra $3.75 hr.
  • Nights – extra $6.00 hr.
  • Weekends – extra $9.00 hr.
  • Holidays – extra $3.00 hr.
On Call: Receive $1.00 per hour when on call.
About the facility: Children’s Recovery Center of Oklahoma (CRC) is in Norman, Oklahoma, and serves all 77 counties in Oklahoma as the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) treatment center for young people ages 13 to 17. CRC provides community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health and trauma related conditions.
