Licensed Practical Nurse Job at Center for Human Development
CHD is seeking a full-time Licensed LPN to work M - F , 8 AM - 4 PM to provide direct nursing services in our Adult Day Health location in Springfield and West Springfield, which is a day program for adults with various needs. The program nurse will assist the program with Health Assessments, obtaining medical documents/information that pertains to the adults and will provide direct services to the clients. He/she will also manage medications, doctor's orders, and medical paperwork. The program nurse will work closely with the program staff, doctor's offices, and families.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of an associate's degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred; strong interpersonal skills; empathy for others; demonstrated commitment to serving those with significant needs; ability to work well within a team model and independently. Computer skills necessary. Must have a current driver's license and ability to be certified in CPR and First Aid. All candidates must complete and pass background record screening process.
Salary
$65,000 a year, $31.25 an hour
