The New Jersey Institute for Disabilities (NJID) is one of the largest not-for-profit agencies of its kind in the nation providing services to infants, children and adults with developmental and related disabilities. We are currently hiring part-time LPNs for residential and day programs in Manahawkin, Manalapan, Piscataway, Aberdeen, Barnegat, Edison. The qualified candidate will work provide nursing to adults with developmental and related while ensuring the general well being of each individual served.

NJID has part time opportunities in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties. Day & Evening shifts available.

Job Responsibilities of an LPN:

• Administers medication and medical treatments as required and completes documentation

• Accompanies individuals to and from medical appointments and activities as needed

• Assists with activities of daily living as needed

• Data entry using Therap (EHR)

• Implements medically prescribed diets and exercise programs

• Completes documentation that is necessary for program operations in a timely manner

Job Requirements:

• A valid NJ State Practical Nurse License

• HS diploma or equivalent

• A valid driver's license in good standing and must be insurable under NJID's automobile insurance

• Experience with g-tube feedings

• Experience working with intellectual, developmental and related disabilities preferred
