We're looking for an outgoing and detail oriented Licensed Professional Counselor on behalf of a local Outpatient Counseling Center. We're looking for this professional to be based out of Hattiesburg, Columbus or Jackson, Mississippi.

The Licensed Professional Counselor will provide the minimum requirements according to industry standards and Mississippi State law as follows:

• Ability to adhere to utilization, quality improvement and corporate compliance policy and standards

• Conducts psychological evaluations, assessments, and reassessments of clients with required instruments in required format within appropriate time lines

• Maintains close and cooperative relationships with community agencies and other public agencies as needed for assessments and evaluations

• Provides intakes/assessments and reassessments of clients with required instruments in required format within appropriate time lines

• Maintains client records in accordance with agency standards

• If requested/required to attend staffing/clinical meetings, it will be discussed prior. Zoom will be offered as a primary alternative to face to face.

• Other duties as required will be discussed case by case and must be mutually agreed upon by both parties

• Compensation for any other duties must be agreed upon in writing before services are rendered including, but not limited to staff meetings and/or clinical meetings

• At this time, this contract is to provide clinical assessments/evaluations

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• 2-5 years’ experience in the Mental Health Field/Program of Application

• 2-5 years’ experience in the Mental Health Field/Program of Application (LPC only)

• Demonstrated ability to plan and use effective interventions with clients

• Solid working knowledge of and demonstrated ability to use current diagnostic system

• Experience in coordinating mental health intervention plans and serviced with other agencies

• Knowledge and understanding of behavior modification

• Education & Licensure

• Doctorate Required

• Bilingual Preferred (Money Incentive)

• Must maintain licensure in appropriate discipline for Program of application desired with their respective board

• Valid Mississippi Driver’s License

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
