Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center (OPVMC) is looking for Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) or License Eligible to join its team. We offer Wellness, Referral and Emergency Services and are seeking dedicated team players to deliver exceptional Client Service and Patient Care. OPVMC sees primarily small animals (dogs and cats) and a limited amount of exotic patients.
A day as an LVT at OPVMC can include, IV placements, blood and urine collection, x-rays, client communications, administering vaccines, triage, admitting patients for hospitalization and ICU care. Anesthetic procedures include general surgery, specialty surgery, MRI, scoping, dentistry and emergency procedures. Cross training in Specialty Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Neurology, Emergency and Laboratory is available. OPVMC is the premier facility to take your current LVT skills to the next level! Continued education and staff growth is a high priority!
FT and PT positions available, including first, second, third and weekend shifts. Recent grads and experienced technicians are encouraged to apply. OPVMC offers a competitive compensation and benefit package. Shift differentials offered for weekends, evenings and overnight hours worked. We are offering up to a $2,500 sign on bonus for full-time employment, plus relocation assistance.
