As a LiDAR Technician at 95West, a Widseth company, you will work in a team environment along with geospatial, land survey and engineering professionals on specialized Lidar surveys, digital orthophotography, and/or photogrammetry projects and processes. Your focus will be on:
- Assisting data processing such as calibration, classification, and cleaning using LP360 and TerraSolid Suite.
- Producing highly accurate mapping for engineering and transportation design applications.
- Working as part of an integrated team in following workflows and sharing projects across other departments and disciplines.
- Approaching projects with an attention to detail and efficiency to ensure quality standards and production schedules are met.
- Utilizing effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to communicate effectively with team members.
- Post High School education in Geography, Cartography, GIS, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Programming, CADD Systems Training, Survey, or relevant Geospatial disciplines.
- Professional experience in a Lidar or Photogrammetric technician role.
- Familiarity with LP360, TerraSolid, GeoCue, TopoDOT, Global Mapper, or ArcGIS.
- Technology background and/or aerial sensor operation experience.
- Professional certification through the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) or state licensure is a major plus.
